Although the SteamVac has no built-in heater to heat the water, and you’ll have to go over some areas a couple of times to get it clean, the SteamVac is still a really good unit as far as domestic carpet cleaners go, and does it job of getting out ground in dirt extremely well. You should note, however, that it is not suitable for use on hardwood floors.
